The course prepares you in theory and practice for the challenges on ski tours. As an accomplished ski tourer, you improve your off-piste skiing technique and get introduced in how to lead a group. Based on concrete examples, you can easily learn how to work with „Stop or Go©“ strategy. Requirements

Be a minimum of 16 years old
Physiological and Psychological fitness
practical experience in skitouring
Fitness for ascets of 1000 meters in altitude with your backpack (about 6 kg)
Basics knowledge of how to use transceiver, shovel and probe

Who is allowed to participate?

Tour leader aspirants and youth leader aspirants

For a course confirmation (confirmation of participation or certificate) the successful and complete participation is required.

Successful: Participants have achieved the desired educational goals.
Complete: Participants were fully present and actively involved in all parts of the course (tolerance for absences not exceeding 1 h)
